About The Artist

Catherine Besler is a freelance makeup artist based in the Los Angeles area. She started her education at Cinema Makeup School where she studied everything from beauty and hair to character and lab techniques. She has worked on a variety of projects including fashion campaigns, short films, and convention demonstrations while also working on personal projects. Driven by creativity and passion, Catherine couldn't see herself in any other career.

Born and raised in Arizona, Catherine moved to Los Angeles in 2019. She is intrigued by everything science fiction and horror with a special love for classic monsters. Growing up she would read about fairy tales and wizards alike never realizing she would be creating worlds of her own through her art. She dreams of one day working on projects like Star Wars, American Horror Story, and anything with heavy use of prosthetics and special effects to bring a world to life
